Is this worth doing?

So ive been saving up for a new ride, hoping to get maybe a newer Civic, but my bro offered to give my a 93 taurus in exchange for some work around his house. Obviously i took up the deal. Nothing is majorly wrong with it, 47K miles on it, new head unit, 8' Punch and 10' JLW1 in the trunk running off of some Kenwood KC-921 amps. I moded out the interior a bit; painting up some little things, throwing in neon streetglow tubes, and switch plates. Should i attempt to mod out this '93 taurus into a whip? or just keep it until i buy a better car. The only thing wrong, which isnt that bad, is a near blown power steering pump. I have one set aside for when it blows, and a pretty nice crack in the bumper. The car is almost a sky blue/teal. Not exactly the prettiest car.

Thanks

PIMP it..(i mean like drive it & keep it, at least for a while) save up and trade it in for something better eventually

:iagree:
Especially if it was given to you.

Personally, I’ve always liked that body style… you can work with it.

not really a fan of overly flashy mods, but if he gave you the car and it works for now then i say rock it out while saving up some more cash for later. have fun with it but maybe try to stay away from getting too... well... there's no other word to describe it.... ricey.

I agree keep it for a time and save some money so that you can put down the money on something that you want. Stop trying to pimp it and just keep it running.

yea, well i dont know, i mean its old, but its kinda descent. I dont like how the front seats are like one "bench". That gets kind of annoying. Everything i have put into the car, i can take out and hook up in the next, thats why im not planning on like, doing body work, or paint job or something. Well, ill have pictures coming up soon to show, not show off, but to....inform....:screwy:

keep it and save your money for something that you really want. If it takes you three or four years to save up for a car that you REALLY want, then save that long.

You wont regret it.

:iagree: yea, im hoping for that. This is what ive done to my ride now (check my pics), ive had the car for maybe 4 months. In one picture i have a few dents in the hood and fender, from my bro's wife driving drunk, hitting another truck.

Don't waste any money buying crap for it. Its not worth it, honestly.

Save your money by not putting any into the Taurus. Save up for something nice.
