Open letter to the idiot on 95.

Dear Sir or Madam,

You are an idiot. I cannot convey with anymore succinctness my feelings. Did you not realize that you boxspring had fallen off during your trip? Yes, the lower part of YOUR BED magically disappeared from whatever contraption was used, unsuccessfully I might add, to haul your crap.
Were you blissfully unaware that you would be travelling on Interstate 95? You know, that road that connects Florida to the Northeast. The one with the really high average speed. Twine wasn't going to work here, pal. Nice try though.
Were you one of the 2 cars that were stopped on the side of the road staring at the hunk of furniture you had left on a major roadway? If so, DIAF. The fact that you left it there to get clobbered by my car is blatent disregard for personal property. It was 11:30 at night. The road wasn't so busy that you couldn't scamper over and remove it from the path of speeding vehicles. Oh to see the look on your face when I plowed over your little nightmare would have been priceless. The puff of stuffing and wood shards twirling through my wake, dancing like a kamakaze ragdoll, while you stood on the side of the road, mouth agape. Priceless.
Almost worth the aggravation of having to fix my tire this morning, and the gouges on the underside of my car. Douche. I hope the rest of your personal belongings are scattered halfway to Georgia.

Hoping you slept on the floor,

the mike

Rough night, huh Mike.

damn so u hit a bed on 95?, that sucks!!!

Broken5hift 05-01-2006 10:44 AM

i hit a trash can on 413 at 2 in the morning a few years ago. why there was a black rubbermaid trashcan in the middle of the road still puzzles me.

the mike 05-01-2006 10:45 AM

Cliffs Notes:

Yes I hit a bed. Could have been a lot worse though. I though it came up and smacked the doors on the left side. Just a tire plug and we're done. The front bumper needs a respray anyway.

jspek 05-01-2006 10:47 AM

you have no luck do you?

No luck would imply more damage to the wagon and himself than what occurred.
I think Mike was pretty lucky to get a flat and some underscrapes.

Broken5hift 05-01-2006 10:51 AM

the only way this story could of been better was if the guy who lost the bed had his left turn signal on. THERE ARE NO LEFTS ON 95! TURN OFF THE DAMN BLINKER

HuffRex 05-01-2006 11:03 AM

Sorry to hear Mike, Karma bro!

jspek 05-01-2006 11:17 AM

should have lit it on fire

igo4bmx 05-01-2006 11:23 AM

u didn't have the plate# did you?

the mike 05-01-2006 11:33 AM

I was rolling south on 95 at a good clip(probably @ 90 or so). I was focused on the dick riding my ass, and he 2 cars off on the right shoulder. How the boxspring made it farther than the 2 cars is a mystery, but I BARELY had time to swerve to the right. It heplped minimize the damage.

the mike 05-01-2006 11:34 AM

To clarify, it didn't come out of the vehicle in front of me, it was just laying there. So, no, I didnt get plate numbers.

teh DIRT 05-01-2006 11:38 AM

wow sorry to hear about this mike. wasnt there a "real men of genious" about this type of person. I remember hearing "heres to you mister carry your matress on top of your roof, holding down a huge kite with your hand while traveling at excess speeds is totally fine because 'you got it.'. This ones for you."

BlackBulletTSi 05-01-2006 12:10 PM

wow that really sucks people are freaking idiots these days.

Tiny 05-01-2006 05:34 PM

Does no one else find it funny, however tragic, that you ran over a BED?

"Hey, what is that thing in the road? Oh, it's probably just a piece of newspap...HOLY **** ITS A BED"

Sorry to hear about your car, but now that we know there was no major damage I couldn't help myself.

Thats like walking out in front of a school bus thats doing 5 mph.

the mike 05-01-2006 05:37 PM

I was wondering what was going on on the shoulder. Yeah I should have seen it, but it looked like it was hit at least once before I got there so it wasn't an 8 X 6 rectangle like normal.
