2 Post Lift
 

So I have the opportunity to have a garage built with enough room for a 2 post lift. anyone have any suggestions on brand and/or experience installing these?

Something name brand so you know parts will be available in the future.

A few months ago I picked up a 2002 2 post 9k rotary for roughly $2k after auction fees and tax. It was at a county fleet maintenance building and they were upgrading to 12k. It was maintained monthly and has newer arms on it. Now it lays in a shed waiting to be installed next year haha.

Hate working/laying under vehicles now knowing I HAVE a lift but itms not installed yet haha.

Is there a decent place to find auctions like?

It seems that's where a lot of local/state and schools list their stuff.

Also, if anybody you know is a tech, you can ask them to ask a tool truck driver. They know everybody and there are people that buy out old dealership equipment when upgrading or closing then resell for fair prices.
