These things just keep following me home. (another IMSA)

Well I found through in a thread from a member on a fiero forum, A guy was selling this thing in jersey and was more or less looking to just get rid of it. its not a DGP body so it really dose not have any kind of Racing Ties but its made by IRM which is a fairly uncommon kit here are some goodies on it

All I know is the kid told me its an IRM IMSA GT kit on an 84 chassis, The wheels are legit staggered centerline wheels, The brakes do not look stock, (ill confirm that this weekend when I take a look behind the wheels) It has a quad 4 engine swap in it that dose not look half bad, its not seized, all the systems in the car seem to work (aside for a headlight motor). It has a set of coil-overs on it (not sure of the make) It has some kind of front and rear strut brace setup. The interior had custom wrapped leather seats, Carbon fiber headliner, and some funky lookin dash pad. I'll update as I know them but this car had a lot of love put into it, If I hold onto it I want to do the huffaker paint scheme on it.

Yup they are something else... This is my other one its a manual and currently undergoing a 3800Sc swap, thanks for the complement... 88Gt's are a lot of fun. I've had a 3400SFI turbo formula and a project 88 GT.

hmm interesting, what color is the interior?

dastpe 11-13-2013 08:19 AM

Grey interior, minus the seats. I started parting it out awhile back, lost motivation, and now am just looking for a couple hundred bucks to get it out of the garage.

Mera87 11-13-2013 10:23 PM

I don't have any need for it but I'll see if anyone is lookin on the fiero forum... very well might be able to find you someone for it

Mera87 11-20-2013 07:10 PM

We'll i've gotten into it.. Set a small fire twice with starter fluid (blowback through the manifold ) and I almost have the intake off... But other than that not much to post up on it.

dastpe 11-21-2013 12:21 AM

Good to know. You can fix this up and then sell it to me...

Kind of a lil late there.... Just sayin.

I sprayed it down a lil to get all the dirt off of it but the paint is shot.. the pressure washer on low is taking it up in flakes in some places but it cleaned up nice for what it is,

I had the chance to rebuild a fiero. Wasn't that bad really. Fun little thing to drive for what it was

EMX5636 11-29-2013 10:33 AM

Dan, I should have taken you out in mine before I sold it.
