New to TST=post whoring rant
 

who else has been noticing htat when a new person comes to tst theres the same 15 people everytime welcome. POST WHOERES. iunderstand were going for the whole overboard welcoming. but some people are taking it for post whoring. anybody else see this

I notice that the same people welcome to. However, i dont think that welcoming somebody to the board is considered post whoring. Its nice when you join a forum and you go back in an hour and people have welcomed you. I think its okay. I dont get why people really care about post count??? Just my .02! :wink:

I usually try to say something meaningful in welcome posts... not just "welcome"

Yeah good point. You should at least say something a little bit extended. I do agree with you on that point for sure.

I try not to say anything concerning those threads.
I seem to have the unique ability to offend people.

Sometimes I just say, "Welcome." I'm not trying to be a post-whore. Otherwise I wouldn't write down as much stuff as I do on other threads in a single post.

Just my own observations.
And believe it or not, most times I don't even try to offend them.

Oh i was being sarcastic... i could easily see how you could offend someone who doesn't know your just an asshole by nature.

Oh I know.
But I felt it deserved a response even though you were being sarcastic.

And I'm hardly an asshole by nature.
