Saab -> VW Convert ... any meetups?
 

I was in a saab state of mind for the past 7 years, but now that part availability for that make may get questionable I've gone BACK to VW … my first car was 67’ bug, then I inherited a dark-green cabriolet, had a 80’s Jetta and finally a Scirocco… then Honda's and Toyota's for awhile after that...

Now I have this 2DR GTI and the fun is back.. anyone know of a group that meets in the Chester County area or in the vicinity of Phoenixville, PA?

Just VW's? Check the Pa section of the forum but your best bet is Vortex

Vortex... I think those are the VW guys who do weekly meets in Union NJ on Weds nights.

mine is also stock. i may lower it a little on the OEM VWR springs and bilstein HD struts but other than that, it will probably remain stock for awhile

do you know if its possible to put the LED's in under the headlights? (sort of like the audi) When I was at the dealership test driving some of the new models they had that... maybe that was the GLI I was looking at...

there's a vendor on golfmk6 that sells replica Golf R headlights (with projectors and LED strips) iirc they are around $500 plus shipping. a lot of people have them along with replica Golf R LED taillights.
