NJ: No registration ticket.
 

First the question:

Can you get a ticket w/fines for not having a registration, IF YOUR CAR IS PARKED?

My 240 got towed on Friday, no biggie I forgot to re-register it. **** happens.
I paid the registration fee, got the release, then went and paid the towing and storage. Again, my bad. Now there was a ticket on the window. It DOES have a court date on it. Does this mean I have a fine to pay?

Statute: 3-4 is all it says.

Is there a site where you can go and look up statutes and fines?
