Cop Punches Innocent Girl in the Face
Some random guy sprinkles water on some cops then the cop turns around and punches the girl in the face, most likely because she is holding a bottle of water.
I would like to be the first to congratulate her on her hefty settlement with the city of Philadelphia. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsM7AF8VYpE Edit- added better video- zooms in and slows down so you can see that she did NOTHING at all, including spraying silly string. |

I was watching this earlier with my mouth wide open.

highway patrol don't **** around
|
I saw that on the news this afternoon and that cop ruined his career. I'm sure any lawyer is going to jumping at the chance to represent her in court.
|
Apparently she was spraying silly string on officers making a traffic stop. Hopefully she learned two lessons-
Highway Patrol don't **** around Don't spray silly string.(hate that ****) Punch in the face well deserved. BTW, cop is a bit of a hero in philly, stopped an armed robbery a few years back, got stabbed in the back at a bar trying to break up a fight between a few women, and some other stuff. Don't be so quick to judge, theres two sides to every story. |
It doesn't matter. She deserved to be arrested for spray silly string on the cop if that is what she was doing, but not punched in the face. That cop is ****ed.
1. Cops are held to a higher standard & have to keep their cool. 2. You don't hit/punch women. PERIOD. |

Transvestite, woman, midget, still an asshole.
People remember pain more than a fine. If my sister sprayed silly sting on a cop, I'd HOPE she got punched in the face for being such a dumbass. |
Don't feed the troll, folks. Eventually he will lose interest and leave.

^^ You might be a retard. Nevermind, you are. SMH

Link to story that says she had silly string?
Guy off to side of frame that steps in quickly at :02, has a water bottle with no cap and flings water into air. Looks like she gets hit with it and reacts/turns around faster then the cops and the cop came swinging at her. |
Christ, I've been on this forum for 7 years and suddenly I'm a troll for expressing my opinion that some people need a good punch in the face every now and then. Okay, moving on.

I've watched this video a few times and I have yet to see her spraying silly string. And even if she was, you feel that the officer was justified in using that kind of force for some silly string?? |

That's the same thing I saw too. |
There is a video where you can clearly see a water bottle coming down from out of picture and that's what hits the officer, she was just the closest thing to release frustration on.
You morons who are all down for police brutality are funny. In ABSOLUTELY NO WAY, would being sprayed with silly string require such force. |
meh i'll wait for the full story to come out. people are always quick to judge on what they see. not saying it wasnt excessive but there has to be more to this story.
|
Did she deserve a punch to the face? Probably not...
Is she just an innocent bystander? Absolutely not!!! When there's a "riot" breaking out like that you have to know eventually the Police are going to take action to disperse the crowds. Usually by non-lethal force and then violence if necessary. If she didn't want to get in the cross hairs she should have stayed back from the officers and/or just walked the hell home. Walking up behind them chanting/spraying silly string/touching them/throwing things at them or even just being that close was a stupid move. Now she got a taste of what happens and she'll learn for the next time. As for the officer it was definitely over-reacting but at the same time they're trained to protect themselves & the innocent at all costs. If you were trying to break up a fight or make another arrest in the middle of chaos and someone came up from behind you, your first instinct would be to turn around and defend yourself. Chances are when he spun around he wasn't even sure who he was swinging at. He just assumed the person directly behind him was the one "threatening" him. Bad call...yup! But one he's been trained to make a moments notice and now he will have to defend his reaction. |

I'm going to assume you didn't watch the video did you? He took at least 5 steps towards her, after turning around, before he punched her. He knew exactly what he was doing and who he was swinging at when he hit her. lol |
All you people whining about brutality should look at cops in other countries. This was nothing other then that dumb bish getting what she earned.
Granted, I do feel the cop was wrong and probally should loose his job based on the info available.... but you can't help but root for him because that bish needed it. |
