do a google search for Race Proven Motorsports, they're currently located in Claymont, DE.

or contact ZZPerformance, i know they've done a lot of work with your vehicle's platform. they're located in Michigan.

I second what SikneSS said.

never heard of them, looks like they only deal with LSx based engines, but it'd be worth checking out. definitely ask about their (HPA & RPM) experiences with the s/c'd 3800 before having them even look at it, i know a fact that ZZP has tons of experience with them. good luck.

Go with the biggest pully your stock fuel system can handle before having it tuned or save your money.

I second RPM or HPE. Also heard good things about ZZP in general but I think they are mail order tunes so they would be last on my list.

Thanks for all the references. Sent out emails to all listed companies. online was my last option due to core charges, etc, though Overkill PCMs have a very good rep for my Prix.

yea it would be a mail order tune but with their experiences with the platform their tunes should be quite good. road tunes & dyno tunes are best tho.

Another option is Dave out at F.A.S.T. in West Chester, about a 20-25 min drive, but his work speaks for itself.

I've been tuning rotaries and trying to branch out a bit ... wanna give it a shot together?

Twisted tuning 01-26-2013 08:24 PM

We just tuned a 3.8 sc motor in a mustang with megasquirt today. Did 289 whp 309 tq with stock pulley, ported blower and intake. Going to be tuning a 97 park ave with ported blower, smaller pulley in the next week or so with hptuners. I will let u know how that turns out.

SHOdude 01-31-2013 08:02 PM

Do you know what you'll tune through?

Would you let someone tune their own car with your software if they paid you for the HPT credits and some extra?

I can tune but don't wanna shell out $650 for software and another $200 for a WB when I really don't have any plans for power adders down the road.

Illegally download the software..?

Twisted tuning 02-01-2013 06:56 PM

I have the software. As long as u pay for credits and i charge 80 an hour if u want to make your changes. I will run the car on the dyno obviously
