have a few questions abo a recent arrest
 

Earlier this week, I was greeted at my door by 2 constables. Needless to say I was a bit surprised! They asked me for my name and if I could step outside. So I cautiously obliged by stepping into the doorway. I asked them why they were there, and they responded they were to take me into custody and transport me to the judges office. Ok...not a big deal (I have been throught this before). This is where things get ”complicated”. I told them that I was getting ready to take my girlfriend to a job interview when they showed up, and that I wanted to hand her the keys so she could stil go. I was told ok so I gave her the keys and my phone. Next thing I know I was being forced against a with my hands behind my back. I asked if they could not do this in front of my kids and if I could physically see the.warrant. They then pulled.me.backwards towards their vehicle when my gf asked to see said warrant. Then stated that she would be filing a complaint. They flashed a piece of paper with a phone number on it and said ver batem ”we are state constables, so go ahead and call. Nothing is going to happen”. They then proceeded to call her stupid and a dumbass, and threatened to arrest her as well. While I was being transported, they mentioned that what she did was ”a quick way to turn a summary into a felony” HOW??? Things get tricky now. The one who physically arrested me was not on ANY of the paperwork or warrant (finally saw it at courthouse), nor is he constable for the arresting county

He also OS friends with my neighbors, which one of.them I have serious prolems for beating animals. Called animal control several times with no investigation, yet when someone confronts him face to face, they show up about our dogs. He is also aware that said neighbor owns a car in which no VINs on car match, and the only one that matches the title is the one on the motor! I questioned the constable about if it was legal to own or drive. He said no and if someone got stopped driving the car, it would immediately get impounded. . It definitely sounds like a ”conflict of interest” to me.

My questions is really how much of what transpired is actually legal for them to do?
