My new 4x4
Well, two weeks ago my blazer threw a bearing, i decided it was time to scrap it. So i was on the hunt for a new toy... well, i found it, i picked up a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport at a local dealership here in Lansdale (across the street from my house to be exact.)
It is all factory, which is what i wanted, so i could modify it on my own. It has a 4.0L SOHC v-6 under the hood with an automatic transmission. It is also 4 wheel drive. The ONLY thing i have done was install a single din JVC KD-s28 head unit. I am currently researching ways to modify and improve the truck. So any and all recommendations as to how and what i could do to improve the truck's performance and appearance would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pictures from this morning after i washer her. and some pictures from the night i got it. http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...3/IMG_0662.jpg http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...3/IMG_0661.jpg http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...3/IMG_0660.jpg http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...3/DSCF3223.jpg http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...3/DSCF3222.jpg http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...3/DSCF3221.jpg http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...3/DSCF3220.jpg http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/...3/DSCF3219.jpg |
looks nice first thing id do is rip off the side steps unless your really short they screw up the lines on the truck and are usually get caught if your going 4x4 with it
