Staten Island Car Meet March 2nd
 

Hi everyone, there's going to be a car meet on Friday, March 2nd at 9pm at a Target in Staten Island. If it gets cancelled due to bad weather I will let everyone know. Please help spread the word.

how's the cop situation there now? I know the thursday night meets were shut down eventually.

To be honest I'm not sure because I've never been there. A kid I know is putting the meet together so I'm assuming if the cop situation was bad he wouldn't do it. This is just a one-time event as of now. As long as no one acts stupid we should be fine.

Is your friend one of the people who started this ? Because isn't this the consistent event that had problems with the cops ? It was a great meet till last year, I would go.

No, I don't think he was one of the original people who started the meets. From the other threads I read, the meets were on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If we end up having a cop issue we will just move it.

The SI meets have always been on tuesday for years. Cops have been a problem for the past few warm weather months.
I'm pretty sure they will continue on tuesdays as always... For the most updated info on the meets go to SiRacing.net that's where is all began
