Painted SC

Hey guys. Has anybody painted their supercharger and intake? Mine is sanded down because the valve gaskets were getting changed and apparently the intake was seeping. So, I decided to clean up this ugly corrosion. I have a GM multicolor gloss black that I have one coat on so far after being sanded down and cleaned. Brent

What do you guys think?

Looks aight, I personally would have went with a silver, but that doesn't look too bad.

I painted my M62 on my Series I Park Ave. I went with a flat black though. I personally think gloss black looks terrible in an engine bay unless whatever your painting is smooth. (i.e. intake piping)

Good god...

Re-do it in a flat color so it doesnt show the roughness of the aluminum.

Strip it down and let it oxidize.

Swimmerboy 01-25-2012 10:22 PM

Mine is currently being sanded down and prepped for paint. Going with a flat black.

YEah I didn't have the time to prep like I wanted. I was going to to flat black but I heard gloss looked better. Oh well! There's a hood to cover it up lol looks better than it did before! =:O
