RallyBeaterDsm $1000 or less, Pics for days
http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0106.jpg
This car cost me $500, I sold the wheels for $200. Had to rollback it home. Tires had camber wear down to steel. Replaced some stuff: (In no particular order) Radiator timing belt &Idler/tensioner waterpump thermostat both fans brake pads alternator rear upper control arms 2g manifold rear hatch hood Full exhaust some other stuff... Of that list, all I had to purchase was the waterpump and thermostat ($45). All other stuff came from my stash, or my buddies stashes. I replaced the hood because the one that was on it was MINT. I had a dented up spare so I threw that on. Started on a light bar: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0160.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...i88/lights.jpg Yes those are old sockets welded to the A pillar.(dilligaf) So at this point I got my bike clamps bolted through the roof,(mostly) truck bed coated body, and some old jeep wheels to hold it up. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/haters-2.jpg Okay time for wheels. I wanted some tough looking ish, but this is a budget build, haters. pictured: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m.../winraceNb.jpg @$250/ I'd have a better chance at starting a boy band than having these on my $500 beater. Instead: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0382.jpg Meh' **Insert "close enough" rage http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...IMAG0384-1.jpg Same truck bed coated treatment with a white topcoat. Texture=tough. Deal with it. TCI-$120 215/70/15's Firestone Winterforce $319 all four, installed. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0390.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...psi88/roof.jpg Steel strip welded to the roof to spread the load of the bikes. Drilled for the weightlessnesss. Hum, lets see Rear wiper delete, reverse fog light, permanent tow strap, custom cut mudflaps..check http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0448.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0441.jpg This was about the time I replaced the exhaust. 3" stainless turboback using re-bar for custom bent hangers. No off the shelf muffler could contain all 180 horsepowers so I had to build one.. Okay, it's because this is a beater, skillz to save (dollar)billz http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...88/muffler.jpg LTR450 muffler, I hate quads. I don't even know how I acquired this. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0471.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0473.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0484.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m.../muffler-1.jpg Now you KNOW it's fast, yep no question: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...si88/one-1.jpg Weight reduction, for the altitudes: http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0526.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0527.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0533.jpg Battery relocated to trunk as well.. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0528.jpg Also, replaced stock washer pump with a fuel pump, and a pressure washer nozzle. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...88/wipers1.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...88/wipers2.jpg One sweep Jesus enough already, lets get it dirty!!! http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/IMAG0547.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...si88/edit3.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...si88/edit8.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...si88/edit7.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...si88/edit2.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...si88/edit4.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...si88/edit5.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...i88/edit13.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...i88/edit12.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...i88/edit10.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...si88/camp1.jpg Still have a few things I want to do. It had to be done. I already have a very big 1g resto project. Even bigger Conquest project, and a Gvr4. This ain't my first time around the block, I need something different.

Best DSM thread ever.
