Video, My V8 E36 Bmw...and some pictures of some other junk we have in these parts.

Copied from my Bimmerfest post, just though some of you guys might enjoy as well......

Some of you begged for videos, and I'm sad to say that for the most part I'll be disappointing you.

I blew a bunch of seals on the transmission while "enjoying" the car earlier this week when there wasn't a camera present so I didn't get a chance for some good videos before we tear her down for winter.

Since we planned on tearing into the car shortly anyway we didn't see a point in fixing the damage, so a short burnout on my private property will have to suffice.

Sorry for the poor quality, but hopefully this will hold you over until spring when there will be many exciting new changes :)

(Full photo shoot with several other swapped 318's, my m3, and a 540i/6 coming as soon as the photographer gets them edited)

****Please no posts bashing my behavior, it's just a burnout. On private property at that. Granted it may be a bit reckless, but oh well. We all have our moments.

For more info on the car, check out my build thread.

For those of you too lazy for that:

1995 318i
1985 Chevy 305 from a Monte Carlo SS with some upgrades
1984 Trans Am t5 manual trans
Built in my private garage with friends and family in just a few weeks.
Plenty of custom mounts, brackets, etc....

A few pictures from today off of my point and shoot while I wait for the real photos....

Swapped 318's: S50,V8, M50

The other grey e36 is my little brother's car, nothing great but he's 17 and paid for it with his own hard earned money so I'm extremely proud of him for that.

Forgive our lack of serious stance, we're working on it....I need to change the header collectors and a few other things on the v8 car so I can bring it down a bit.

They all look good, and your little bro should be proud too, theres nothing wrong with that one, it doesnt look beat or anything and actually has a nice stance and they always look good on those factory wheels

OMGz Turbo 10-12-2011 10:23 PM

delphinE30 10-13-2011 03:01 AM

I dont want to hate but id take the e46 hands down. The v8 sweet ive seen a v8 e36 with 1000 hp lol
im all about bmws i think the family owned 12?? At one time lol. All e30s.except a junk e36. Good work on em just not my style.
Take care of the 46 lol nice wheel choice too

FazdaGt 10-13-2011 01:53 PM

I'm sure they didn't build that 1000hp e36 for under $3k like this car was....

It's not for everyone, but it's a hell of a lot more fun to drive than my e46.

aeros 10-13-2011 03:24 PM

That's just plain badass.

LoL how much do your neighbors hate you? I'm amazed you guys haven't been kicked out of there by the township or lynched in the night by your neighbors.

FazdaGt 10-14-2011 08:25 AM

Surprisingly the neighbors love us. I grew up here and bought the house from my parents about five years ago. They've watched us grow and are impressed at what we do and how successful we've become. We put the house up for sale over the summer, every neighbor was disappointed and begged us to stay. The market sucks, so I think I'm pulling it off and staying awhile. The township on the other hand.... I could care less, although they haven't bothered me recently. Knock on wood....

It's already torn down :(

The white is going though, heading in a laguna seca blue direction.

ssclone 10-16-2011 11:37 AM

That's awesome but why a boat anchor 305?

FazdaGt 10-16-2011 11:44 AM

I built the car with parts I simply had lying around... a running 305 was part of that pile of junk. It'll get a 350 or better in time, for now the 305 is enough fun.

ssclone 10-16-2011 03:28 PM

Still an cool build.
I have a friend with an e36 with a 350/th350 he swapped in. I'm die hard chevy so I like it haha. What did you do for headers?

FazdaGt 10-16-2011 08:31 PM

Modified block hugger shorties

hpf2m3 10-16-2011 11:13 PM
