Any one interested in starting gatherings in Newtown?
 

Is there anyone out there in the Newtown/Langhorne/richboro/Bensalem area that think it would be worth while to start a gathering at Goodnoes resturant parking lot on fridays located in the heart of Newtown? If so i would need some participation so it could grow. Let me know if you are interested, by e mail or IM or reply to this thread. Thanks. Jon

In the summer I would come to get some awesome ice cream!

in my personal experiences the police in newtown are very tough... maybe a meet once in a while but i dont think a weekly thing would work, especially if it was a decent size.
why not just come out to the fresh works meet on thursdays? there's a sticky about it in upcoming events

If we do this, we have to be on our absolute best behaviors. I mean nothing, no burnouts, to skretching tires, not even revving. The really shady street racers used to gather there so you'd be against a pretty huge bias against it. I'm down as long as everyone understands, nothing, no where, not even within 5 miles.

yup newtown cops are like hawks and they will shut it down ill give yous maybe 10 minutes till they kick yous out... unless your buying ice cream... then they have to let you stay but not for long

they will watch us eat it.

I think we should all do it just to annoy the newtown cops and prove we aren't out to cause trouble.

i think all you guys are on the right track, i know a couple of officers, but im not sure if thatll make a difference. i think we should do it mayb 2 or three nights a month when summber starts.Just start it out and see how it goes. Even on busy night when the resturant is packed, they still have alot of room in the back of the parking lot.
