Spotted: OV Mall: Black Mustang Cobra R!?!?
 

Never saw one of these wings in real life, only on my sick street machine in GT3. Had an SVT badge on the trunk and said COBRA across the bumper. I only caught a glance at his backside as he was getting ready to turn a corner, so I dont know what the front of the car looked like. Oh and I think he had dark wheels, but I'm not sure on that one.
I assume that it wasnt a real Cobra R because i think they are ridiculously expensive and rare, but just seeing if anyone has ever seen this guy around and knows anything about him.

According to that link you posted, the Cobra R said Mustang on the bumper, not Cobra. I don't think its a true Cobra R.

Yes, the cobra is avalible in black, but I have never heard of a Cobra R in any color except for red.

They only came in red. I think it is a kid that goes to bucks. I used to park next to a v6 mustang with a cobra r kit on it everyday there.

If it's who I'm thinking it is...It's not a real Cobra R. He wrecked the front end of his GT and the Cobra R kit was actually cheaper than the stock GT body parts.

Cobra Rs are all red and extremely rare.

His name is John, and it's not a real Cobra R...it was wrecked and he got the Cobra R kit for less than the stock GT kit costs, so that's what he did. Still looks amazing though.

yeah it definitely caught my attention, i only got a glimpse of it. hopefully he'll hear about our thursday meets and come out when the weather is nicer.

OK...apparently there are 2 of them around. I was behind the Cobra R(eplica) and when I pulled next to the kid, he gave me this cocky look like it was a real Cobra R. It was entirely too quiet to be a real Cobra. It sounded like a stock GT...not even exhaust on it.

I've seen that car around. I don't think its a Cobra R though, but it definitely looks good.
