My NEW 2007 Mazda Mazdaspeed 3 ::280whp/311wtq needs moar torques::

Well as some of you may know i wrecked my s2k back in december, and it has been a long wait for another car. One of the main reasons was because i didn't know what i wanted. I finally narrowed it down to an evo, MS3 or another s2k. The evos are obviously nice, but for the money that i had, i could only afford a high mileage one or a salvage one. Plus the interior is not the greatest and my dad didn't want me to get one because the side impact is 2. The MS3 was my second choice and, when i first looked at one i was impressed. The interior is pretty decent and it had some good speed. So i drove a couple and eventually found one out in East Petersburg. Picked it up a week ago and so far i absolutely love it. It has 71k on it and has:

Engine-
-Cobb AccessPort
-Cobb turbo inlet pipe
-Cobb short ram intake
-Mazdaspeed cat back
-Greddy manual boost controller
-Greddy type R bov
-TRZ pass and rear motor mounts
-AWR driver side motor mount
-Aftermarket Intercooler fan
Suspension/Brakes-
-Cobb Rear Sway Bar
-Centric Rotors
-Hawk HPS pads
-Super blue brake fluid
-Mazdaspeed sport springs and camber arms
-Mazdaspeed coilovers
Exterior-
-Yellow Fogs
-Piaa wiper blades
-Plasti Dipped wheels and front under grill
-Nightshaded third brake light, rear reflectors, side markers
-DG Motorsports fiberglass hood
-Rally Armour poly. flaps
Interior-
-TWM short shifter

Very nice man, I wanted one so bad. Is it a sport or a GT?

O2SpecV 04-21-2011 03:30 PM

Def get some under hood shots curious what you setup looks like.

Really running a type-r bov? You never see those these days especially for their size. maybe you meant RS?

O2SpecV 04-21-2011 09:07 PM

Good luck with it, my buddy has one and i love cruising around in it. I'd definitely consider one as a daily if i was in the market.

Cut MX some slack, that's obviously not the reason why he blew his motor, so leave it at that.

Don't crash this one! This is FWD boost which means torque steer. I still don't know how you lost control of the S2K, but I bet this car is going to be a bit tougher to drive so please be careful. I have never driven a S2K but have driven MS3s and they are torque friendly little buggers.

Enjoy it and uhhh...... wtf....get more pics lol

mx931 04-24-2011 12:01 PM

hahahaa joes kidding, hes my good friend! but yea i dont know why the motor blew but they gave me a 2010 one hmmmm

lownslow95 04-24-2011 01:30 PM

Looks good. I'm kicking myself in the ass for not getting one, oh well...maybe get a 2011 later on down the road.

O2SpecV 04-24-2011 04:45 PM

yeah guys i have not even gotten to drive it yet because the previous owner had a loan on the car and when i bought it i payed off his loan, so i am still waiting to get the title in the mail because they take like 2 weeks to send it, i have been very busy recently, so i don't have any other pictures, but this week while i am still waiting i am gonna at least paint the badges flat black.

lessthankeevin 04-26-2011 06:51 PM

Nice :) jealous on the car, I wanted a speed3 so bad, trying to get a speed protege now though. Love Mazda's good luck with everything!

O2SpecV 06-23-2011 01:25 PM

Newest picture. Removed stickers and put on yellow overlays for the fogs and painted the front and rear emblems black. I am getting tints tomorrow, so ill throw up some more pics and this time they will be high res :finga:
