driving without a hood?

what are the penalties for driving a car without a hood? just wondering what i could get myself into if i atempt this. It would only be directly from a custom auto shop where I would drop my hood off to my house where the spare hood would be for me to use.

is this a reeeaaaly bad idea?

no comments? is this just a matter of officer discretion?

I don't think the officers patrol the forum all that often, you may need to wait a few days for an answer. Personally, i say do it, and film it. If you get pulled over just tell them its a clear hood...insist there is a clear hood on there even when they touch something under the hood...just act all crazy about it.

yea im sure u will get stopped immediately, possibly ticketed, and maybe have your vehicle towed. It is all up to the officer, but i can not see an officer letting you drive away after pulling you over for no hood.
