Trackdays??

Anyone doing some trackdays this year?

Ill be with NESBA and Team ProMotion

SovXietday 03-22-2011 10:31 AM

I plan on doing a few NESBA track days this year!

phsdrummer2 03-22-2011 10:37 AM

I want to soooooo badly. Unfortunately, the money just isn't there right now.

PAFirefighter11 03-22-2011 02:03 PM

I ran with Absolute Cycle Experience (ACE) and it seems they have merged with NESBA now. I'll be out at least once this year I hope.

KM: Is your 325 a sedan? If so, I think I saw you on the Green Lane bridge a little over a week ago. I was on my bike.

Little bit off topic, but how often do you ride in the green lane area? I live literally 5 mins from there and ride that area often.

SovXietday 03-22-2011 05:04 PM

Me as well, I live in Green Lane lol.

im looking into doing onw this summer uncertain though because money is tight and all the gear necessary is very expensive.

PAFirefighter11 03-23-2011 11:28 AM

Hah, any day it's warm out I am usually out that way at some point, if I am not working and don't have hw. And by Green Lane Bridge I mean in Bala Cynwyd area, not Green Lane, PA. I enjoy Conshi Road (23), then up to and around Valley Forge Park. If it's warm, I keep riding West, and cruise through the fun back roads in Chester & Montgomery Counties. I rarely ride by myself these days as my g/f cruises with me on my bike. I don't speed or anything anymore like when I was younger - that's what the track is for - hence this post, right? :)

i went out with ProMotion a couple years ago on my 05 R6. id like to get out again this season, but dont wana risk my newer minty R1 (i might pick up a trck bike this season). i think the super-moto would be a blast though if it was set up differently.

Gotcha, yeah I didn't remember you saying you were really from around here so I was curious.

Anyway, yes, definitely want to try and get on the track this year. I don't know if I see myself pushing 100% being as this bike is the only one I have, but it would be nice to really open it up and not have to worry about cars.

Hey if this weather ever clears up and we get a good riding day let me know if you guys are going out. I'm only over by Quakertown and it's nice riding out there.

enigma 03-24-2011 07:49 PM

I'll be at njmp on 4-2. Probally my last track day with nesba, I'm switching to TPM after.

Guys, check out Motorcycle Xcitement with Roger Lyle. Great structure and LOTS of track time. I'll be out for a half a dozen or so between Nesba and Motorcycle Xcitement! See ya there!

nice! I have the full throttle deal with TPM and super basic for NESBA.

i liked riding NESBA last year but theyre a bit too controled and too pricey

SovXietday 03-25-2011 12:37 AM

I think I might run NESBA first, being as it IS controlled lol. I can willingly admit that I have no business being in a loosely structured class on a track with other riders, I'm just not good enough of a rider yet.

That's a good attitude to have! The track can be a humbling experience

After you get to the "I" group with NESBA you should be fine riding anywhere with any org.... Just my opinion

enigma 03-25-2011 08:01 PM

Nice, I'm shooting for at least one track day a month with TPM, prices work out better if you do 6 track days with the membership than with nesbas track days.

enigma 03-27-2012 12:01 AM

I'm bringing this particular thread back for 2012, anyone gonna be hitting up the track this season. I'm shooting for my first of the year in april with tpm at njmp.

Team promotion is one of the best, been dealing with them over the last 15yrs between me and my father. Now that there doing cars (tracktime4cars.com) it opens it up to so many more people.

justinlansdale 03-27-2012 09:41 PM

I really want to get out for at least one trackday this year.
