Speeding ticket but in the mail?
 

So today on my way to work I was pulled over for doing 66 in a 35. When I pulled over the cop asked if I knew why and while I did, I said no because that's what I was told by people to always say. He seemed to be angry I said no and just said "66 in a 35, license, registration, and insurance" and walked away. Now, I have no idea what. kind of ticket I'm even getting. Is there even a way to check the status of it? I'm waiting to see what I got at least to make a plan of action.

I have a feeling I'm pretty screwed and need a lawyer if I want to drive this summer.

As far as location it was an industrial park area, two trucks turned into parking lots which opened up the road for me. It wasn't a good call on my part, I know. I came to a light and a few seconds later he pulled up to me with his lights on.

So he took your information but didnt give you a citation? Did he say you would recieve one in the mail?

Yes. He told me I'd get it in the mail.

So he just said he got your for speeding then comes back and tells you that you'll receives it in the mail and leaves?

If hes citing you for 31 over you'll be getting a departmental hearing

Any other tickets on your record?

Yeah, took my information, was in his truck for a few minutes then came back and told me I'd be getting my ticket in the mail since he was out in his ticket book.

I have a speeding ticket from 08, improper passing from 09, and a tint ticket from last month.

Just have to wait and see what he cites you for

Possibility you'll be losing your license though
