my friend gave me his pos 60 dollar radar detector, is it gonna work it or is it gonna go off when its too late

what kind is it? it will most likely just got off randomly like for supermarket securty systems, or it might go off when its to late.

The one I have is quite literally 17 years old and works just fine. My dad used it when he was driving back and forth to Syracuse when I was 3, then it sat in my basement until last year. You shouldn't really have a problem with it. My next investment electronically is going to be a jammer. :devil:

My friend has one of those. He decided against a V1 for it.

+1 for the Cobra 6 band. 3 years later and it is still truckin along. Defenitely worth the $40.
