Failure to Stop @ Red Light - Pendell
 

In Rush Hour traffic this morning I failed to stop at the second red light on the Blvd, heading south right before the Byberrey Mental institute. Not to make excuses, but it was one of those situations where everyone is driving on top of one another, and I hesitated as the light turned yellow then Red, So I ended up passing through the intersection as the light turned over to red.

So, i saw the cop pull out, and I immediately pulled over onto a little shoulder in the road. A single cop from Pendell approached, didn't ask any question, just told me what he pulled me over for and asked for the usual - license, registration.

In the end I received a ticket for $106. This is my first moving offense. My main question is..how do I get rid of the points? Anything I can do?

I have no problems paying for the ticket....But, after driving for 5/6 years with no other offenses, I don't think I should be penalized for such a minor first incident....

Go to court and talk to the prosecutor. I am sure he will lower the violation to aonther one with no points. So, you will plead guilty to a lesser charge.
