K.P Tuning can be reached at mxguy1286@aol.com and is very trusted in the dsm/honda/evo plus other cars in the tuning game for our area.
I also Suggest Petey Turbo who tunes out of Krazy House Kustoms.
Go with a quality 3.5" intercooler or if you got the cash a 3.8" garrett core intercooler and a ETS lower IC pipe.
JMF slim battery is a very nice setup.
Kelford 272's and the appropriate springs & retainers or keep it simple and cost effective with a set of HKS 280s for cams.

Any other questions, don't hesitate to pm me.
Good luck with car!

well i was looking for saving some money so i contacted a friend and i can get the kelfords for a good price with springs n retainers but i hear kelford is very agressive and im not sure if its a good daily driver friendly cam hahah. but i do want big power....

TalonTsi97 01-08-2011 09:45 AM

Kelfords everyday with a good tune won't be a problem at all. K.P pricing & service is very good priced and his availability is awesome even if you want a good street tuner to get you on your way for a while. Don't hesitate to talk with him and then make a decision.

CBRD is good but i wouldn't go there myself either. The 2 i mentioned are the only 2 in the area i'd actually use and many local philly/nj people can vouch if needed.

Y wouldnt you go to them?

TalonTsi97 01-09-2011 06:14 PM

To far, to much $, can get a tune i trust just as much for less money and feel comfortable with the 2 people i mentioned above. If your local to to them then have at it but i personally would pass.

Mk2styles 01-10-2011 12:11 AM

I understand what you mean but I know for a fact they do a boost leak test. Before a tune wich other shops ignore n that is huge if they donn and say I have one I could have a problem lol

TalonTsi97 01-10-2011 12:50 PM

Boost leak test could be done by yourself before you even go and K.P would take care of you if you speak with him ;)

not gonna lie dont know how to haha

TalonTsi97 01-10-2011 03:48 PM

It's all good man, everyone has to start somewhere & honestly if your willing to learn hit up K.P. He isn't some big shop who doesn't have time for you or his customers. He's down to earth, very knowledgeable, always willing to lay a hand and wants to make the car run as best as it can. He treats every car like its his own. If you want his # i'll pm it to ya, i'll tell him you will be calling, call & then see what you think and make a decision.

CBRD & Petey are great as well and i won't knock either especially Petey but this may be your best bet in learning while saving some $$.

Mk2styles 01-10-2011 04:15 PM

Yeah if you could shoot me his number and let me know that would be great cause i found nothing on google about a website or anything haha
