Machine Shop (Bucks County area)
hey guys im looking for a machine shop that can help me fix my turbo. basically i broke some studs an i tried to fix it, worked for awhile and then just broke again. don't really know how much it will cost but i need it to be fixed asap! looking for places near warminster, ivyland, warrington... basically anywhere in bucks
heres a pic so you get what im talking about http://i51.tinypic.com/md2nme.jpg |
Honestly for the price a machine shop is going to charge you for that you are probably better off buying a new turbine housing. I had to have something similar done and paid $70 per hole to have them fixed.

You can try speed equipment corp in bensalem, they do good work, but my guess is two heli-coils will run you 75+

I had the same problem and like Erik said just source a new hot side.

My recommendation even though it wont help the OP, GN Automotive in Doylestown is where I go for small things like having a head resurfaced, a hone, whatever. Its a machine shop run by one guy, and he does good work at a fair price. Plus I love to support the little guy.
