I bought a diesel.
 

The S80 I was driving had close to 160k, needed front struts, and new tires. It was time for a new car and since I spend 2 hours driving to and from work, I decided that this was the best choice.

It's a 2011 Golf TDI. It has the touchscreen radio, cold weather package, sunroof, etc. I've had it not quite a month and it is averaging around 40 mpg. :)

I still have my Mk3 so no plans for the TDI.
