I could not find the clip but Blackhawk Down had a few really good war battle scenes. It deserves an honorable mention.

you know what, now that you mention it, i totally forgot all about that movie. the whole movie would have to be the best battle. imo.

best shootout would have to be at the end of equilibrium with Christian Bale and Angus Macfadyen

The entire fight scene was uncut, filmed in one go with a single cam. It's also almost 4 minutes long, which is pretty hardcore.

I would have to say pretty much the whole movie "Shoot 'Em Up" with Clive Owen

Everyone is forgetting quite possibly the most epic battle scene ever. It is two minutes of man versus machine, I don't think the raw emotion caught in this video has ever been replicated past or present.

3rd Matrix: Coat Check Room
Transporter 1: Bike pedal shoes in oil fight
Predator 1: Raid on Enemy Camp (mini-gun + "the body" = awesomeness)
Tears of the Sun: basically the whole movie
Way of the Gun: Hotel shootout
Aliens: End scene escaping from the compound
