I know to never ever buy a modded SRT-4, since they like blow up and have lots of problems. But you didn't say it was modded so I am only assuming, which brings me to my next question: Is it modded?

And no, I don't know who's it is. I am betting it was a kid's car and they beat the hell out of it. SRT-4s are tricky cars, I hope you did some research on the car to make sure you didn't buy someone else headache.

HATE HATE HATE HATE lol

i have no idea what bates is talking about (typical hate on srt 4s). ive had mine for 3 years and have never had a single problem with it. the srt is a great car and from what you posted it seems basically mildly modded, but done with the right mods. record what boost its running at if its anything over 18 its been overboosting then i wouldnt buy the car. if its lower then that the car is good. again the motor is strong i know people who put down more then 400hp for years without a rebuild. there are also multiple people on forums with 130+k miles on a non stock turbo car. Also only one person ive personally met with an srt has blown his motor and that was because of a hydrolock which any idiot with a CAI running through a puddle will do.

edit: if higher then 18psi look to see if the car is staged. aka the ecu

I only tells it like I sees it. Spec-Vs go boom too (pre-cat failure and butterfly screws get OM NOM NOMed by the engine), but never have I ever seen a Spec-V shoot a clutch through the hood, I have seen it done on a few different SRT-4s. The few people I know who have SRT-s don't hate them, but don't care for them much, and they say never to buy a modded one. They have potential, I won't deny that but I just don't like them.
