aluminum rad repair?
well i punctured a few holes in the mishimoto radiator today just wondering how/where to get it fixed
Contact Mishimoto, and get a replacement. The lifetime warranty comes in handy. ;)
we will see, they said on the website u have to have a receipt... i dont
...how did you punch holes in it?
Probably didn't take it out when he was doing something around it.
exactly, moved it outta the way to take the condensor out. condensor slipped.. hole in the rad..
Jb weld it that's what I did and then drove to Florida the next day.
lol....is it threw the core? or just the cooling fins?
yea its through the actual passages... 3 or 4 of them, so if i put coolant in it it will pour out
Oh, I missed the fact that you damaged it yourself, lol. I don't read well enough sometimes.

Mishimoto is actually pretty lax about their warranty policy, depending on who you talk to. Ive seen them replace radiators for customers without a receipt.
If that doesnt work, motorcycleradiators.com is a company that specializes in repairing aluminum radiators. Despite their website name, they will do a car rad too, and it should run you $75-120. |
^^ Haha. Thanks. Unfortunately, there have been minor changes to the warranty program recently.
I am the guy you would be talking to for a warranty claim actually. OP, send me an E-mail at patrick@mishimoto.com and we can figure something out. Thanks, -Pat |
^^Talk about customer service! :)
