New Medal of Honor
 

I've never played any of the other franchise games, but from the previews I'm seeing, this one looks pretty sick.

Thoughts?

my friend mentioned this today and I watched the trailer. looks pretty good, but I could never get into the gameplay of Medal of Honor.

personally I think the graphics are out of control

I played the beta when it was on Xbox during the summer. Game is going to rock. They gathered enough data to tighten controls and game types for the final. I pre-ordered it. It was definitely more fun than MW2 or BC2. Great game types like those missions with multiple objectives.

I also liked how the killstreaks were acquired. You get a score for everything you do(kills, assists, etc). You accumulate this score and every X amount of points you get a killstreak. If you die, the points stay with you so you can build up the streak. For that reason they aren't called killstreaks. They are called something else. The only part of MP I will play are the battles with multiple objectives where one side plays taliban and the other Rangers. Other than that, I'm all about the campaign.

hmm, very interesting. I just might have to get this one then. although I haven't had time to really sit down and play games in forever

just checked a few sites to preorder... i guess the actual name of this game is Medal of Honor Limited Edition? i've been searching for 'tier 1' and that keeps coming up.

The title of the game is just "Medal of Honor".

I had MoH1 for PS1, and Allied Assault for PC and Rising Sun for PS2. I will end up getting this.

I'll end of getting this. Multiple objectives is an awsome addition.

I'll be busy with GT5 all winter so if I can get it cheap around black friday/holidays I will.

Wow, what is in the water? The name of the game is spelled wrong in the thread and JP just said "I will end of getting this". What is next?

It isn't spelling since 'of' is a word. I think it is considered grammer:lol:. I for some reason type too fast and randomly put the wrong words in places.

They just had an open beta for 4 days(ended yesterday) and I love the **** out of that game. It's fast paced but still tactical, anyone you hear whining about campers and poor map design still hasn't figured out the smoke grenades.

I highly recommend it, my steam ID is upperguy if anyone wants to add me.

This game is coming out in less than 5 hours; cant wait going to be one of the best FPS this year!!! w00t!!

awesome game,....too bad i cannot play it right now....i gottta figure out how to bypass the firmware update thing...damn sony trying to take away all the good features of the ps3 & replace them with stpuid ones....
