Traded my MR2 Spyder for this....
 

Took this in as a trade about 2 weeks ago(I work at a dealership) and decided it was the right move to get into something bigger. The Recaro's are awesome, its fast, I'm glad to be back in AWD, plus theres a lot more space in this than the Spyder haha. Haven't really had time to take pics cuz of work so I snapped these today quick. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm gonna miss the spyder. Looks wise I definitely liked the spyder better plus the attention it got driving. I would have loved to keep it as a weekend car but both payments would have been too much.

May be interested in the exhaust stuff but not the bov since I already installed one haha. How did the exhaust sound?

Exhaust sounded good, i already sold the test pipe tho so you will need to hook something in between on your own but for the price for the dp & single muffler dual catback it's a deal.

We sold the mr2 to one of the used car lots on rt 13. I figured it would go quick and I'd probably end up seeing it whenever I'm back in that area haha. I'll let you know when I'm gonna be back in that area to see if you want to shoot. May be hard now that its getting dark so early

The spyder got attention since most people down by where I'm at had no idea what it was.

I still am too since I've only had the Evo like two weeks lol. The girlfriend definitely likes it a lot better since she can pack more than one small bag anytime we go somewhere haha. I'd probably buy one again someday since it was cheap and a lot of fun.

maybe you guys can both lend me the parts so I can install them and I'll do payments to each. those parts aren't doing anyone any good sitting in a garage uninstalled haha

Wow big time upgrade, both cars look great but i'm a sucker for evo's...congradulations.

Nice pick up man. Evo Xs can make an absolutely insane amount of power with very minimal mods. MBC, exhaust, intake and intercooler and you're already at ~300awhp. All while staying at stock boost, which is 21 psi.

It's funny cause it's the 3rd time in the last week & half that a new owner told me his down payment killed him modding it any time soon but they all wanted the exhaust when i said the price.

I'm completely sick of Evo's. But hey, I'm not you. It looks nice, but it's too much of a me-too car for me. The MR2 is much more of an individual than the Evo. It does its own thing, it doesn't conform to society's rules and tastes. And oh yeah, it's rare. When I see an Evo roll up at a meet, I don't give a damn. When I see an MR2, I care. Good luck with the evo though.
