One Dirty Shoot -- Morla's Evo 9 Photo Shoot

So I started my studies at The Art Institute of Philadelphia yesterday. My class today though was a hands on class, so once I got home I was in the mood to shoot. I went for a drive and pulled right over and whipped out the camera. My school gave me a new camera, a Canon T2i, I also have a Nikon D40, which I have 5 different lenses for. I was really bummed that I didn't get a Nikon but I actually really like it. I might just restart my lens collection now before I put anymore money into Nikon lenses.

But basically, beside my ranting, here's my car and first car pictures with the Canon T2i. Let me know what you guys think. I'm ALWAYS up for criticism, after all, I am an artist and I see this stuff all the time, so an outside eye is always helpful.

The reason they look a little blurry is because I was shooting in RAW so they're super shrunken down.

I'm no photography expert so my biggest criticism would be that the car looks dirty.

EDIT: I just now realized that the title is, "One Dirty Shoot," haha.

Car looks great, i have the same camera and love it! Pics are pretty good and im sure someone who knows more about cameras than us two will give you some helpful advice. Keep up the good work

yeah I was using the car more as a subject for the lighting rather than trying to show the car.

I'm going to re-shoot this after I get it cleaned and looking a lot better than it is now.

Looks good. Should lower it just a tad more.

Looks pretty sweet, but I've never been a big fan of the "shopping lists" in the front windows.

JDMTyler3326 08-22-2010 11:22 PM

Seen it tonight looks good.

thanks, yeah I washed it with my girlfriend right before we went so it was pretty clean. I forgot that my one support rod was off and it bothered me that only one was on. But no worries, APR is sending my replacement rod. I would drop it more but some of the roads I take on my normal driving routes are just too bad, so I can't go too much lower without losing some parts of bumps:eek:

You should have it cleaned really well for the next shoot, like better than a wash

yeah I know, I just really wanted to go out and shoot, so I didn't really care that it was dirty

Not sure what you're talking about when it comes to being blurry because of them being resized from raw... some of them look blurry to me from motion blur.
