Im getting a 93 miata. need advice.

Ok so the car is mechanically good with the running parts and condition is pretty good. body rust is being taken care of before i take delivery.

But i had it at our mechanic's today, and he found that the spring shock assembly is quite rusted and should be replaced relatively soon. Im ok with this because I was planning on doing aftermarket shock towers anyway.

so, what do u all recommend. Id like to keep it at a few hundred bucks, not too expensive. and Im not looking to "slam" the car but lowering it a little is good. also, i want to keep it streetable while still having a somewhat track worthy suspension. (adjustable may be the way to go?).

Im game to go shocks and springs, but if theres some good all round coilovers that will meet my needs im open to that too.

advice please.

(and yea I know about miata.net and all, i want TST ppls personal advice)

hahahaha. Wrong time bro, otherwise id consider it. I need to get all the major flaws sorted out. and i wanna keep her slow for now. Forced induction may be in the cards later. (my sti is already fast and turbo lol, so i have that in my life already)

if you want to track it, definitely brace the suspension and chassis, especially if there's some body rust. chassis flex is no bueno.

your only allowed to get it if you fit it with ronal teddy bear wheels and track it like that :P

Right now im thinking the FM Vmaxx coilovers (possibly the NB converting ones), or the Tokico illumina shocks with FM springs.

thoughts from those who have experience?

you're better off searching on your own at clubroadster.net or miata.net
