I've seen a polished Cobra around here in the past too, but the link says this happened in Texas. I doubt its the same car.

In the article it says the driver was trying to do a fly by, then the throttle stuck, car spun out, hit a curb at about 45-55 mph, flipped in mid air and landed in the water (then the engine stopped lolz). Sucks to be him.

none of that seems probably since the car looks immaculate other than the windshield hanging off. tires look fine. a hit to a curb fast enough to flip the car over into the water would have to bend something...

what i like about the picture is that the crane is supported by boards. and the operator...is a dude wearing a cowboy hat...never a good thing. :P

It'd be tough to tell from this angle unless the damage is horrific because of the polished look. There is two wheels that could be mangled on the other side that we can only see 1/4 of, and if you look towards down by the front wheel, it almost looks like the metal below the headlight is scrunched up. I agree that it's unlikely, but it probably wouldn't take much for a car with that weight to power ratio to get airborn, much less rotate. Definately tough to tell.

And com'on, those are totally Texans with the boots and the hats!
