Hurricane coming! Whats your bet on gas prices??

Gustav is heading toward the Gulf. The oil rigs were evacuated on Monday. I am betting on $5/gallon gas if it hits.

PoorMan'sR 08-29-2008 05:50 PM

god damnit, it could do barely anything and they can use it as an excuse to raise prices

DPancoast 08-29-2008 05:50 PM

well considering that the price of oil went DOWN with the threat and assumed hit that is going to happen.... and considering that they have a plan to evacuate everyone in a timely manner....... I don't really think they're going to go up much.

CleanNeon98 08-29-2008 05:50 PM

they will use any excuse to raise the prices. Im just gonna stop buying gas, **** the government.

The Captain 08-29-2008 05:51 PM

You know they'll take any chance they can to gouge the **** out of people. It's a holiday weekend too, so expect more increases anyways.

No but its because of greedy members like the bush administration that they get away with it. bush is up there with big oil and he lets the oil lobbyists have too much ****ing power.

russiankid 08-29-2008 10:47 PM
