celica matte black wrap

wrapping my celica in oracal matte black.only have one seam running above the rear quarter panel but it flows with the cars lines.plan on painting the wheels all black and tinting the windows myself. kinda going for a murdered out look.have cf fenders/hood/hatch and debating covering some of them with wrap so it ties it in better.overall very happy with results as this is my first time wrapping a car.

Looks amazing. Your doing a great job. How hard would you rate a normal person attempting this for the first time? And price?

Dam I like....I considered doing this but I wonder how ****ty it would be to get the vinyl gook off underneath....be cool 2 do a 2tone look but paint might look faded once pulled off...looks real good though...how much did all the vinyl cost ya

Looks great! Matte Black is nice I painted my old supra matte black. How durable is the wrap?

i bought the vinyl at UScutters.com.5ft x 75ft was $550 i think.i practiced on smaller curved objects before i started. plus i bought a video series of a pro wrapper and picked up some pointers.i think most people could do this.just need lots of patience. i had to do roof twice, door twice. i spent like an hour or more only to tear something at the end and have to start over.the biggest thing is cleanliness. a spec of dirt will look 5x bigger under the vinyl.i didnt have any one helping me so used magnets to hold the vinyl against the car and i put a hair drier under and through my shirt so i was able to work with both hands as it blew out hot air.think the vinyl is rated at 7 years or so but most likely be 5 years with all the elements outside.ive heard many things on removal. if the paint is in bad shape already it will or can pull it off. ive pulled off vinyl after it being on a few weeks with no problems.it wont be on road until the spring and i will have extra left over in case of it getting damaged or what not.

that looks pretty neat. how are you going to tackle the bumpers? they have a lot of complex curves.

thanks. ya i figure the front bumper will be the hardest.lots of heat and stretching.you'd be surprised how much flex and how well vinyl will adhere to curved surfaces when enough heat is applied.im figuring it might take a mistake or two before i get it right.hopefully not .
