It's true. Gear oil smells like a mix between my feces and that smell when you leave milk out for a couple days and a whiff of it gets the vomit reflex going.... like that.

so i took my earring out and squeezed whatever was in it, out. Wouldnt come so i gave it a tug with a hard squeeze. **** popped and shot bluss (blood/puss) all over the mirror, ceiling, and cornering wall. EW!

I had an infection under my armpit. A boil pretty much. It had to get squeezed and had all that puss too. That was almost 2 weeks ago. My gf is a nurse so squeezing out puss is amusing to her haha.

LOL that happened when my second holes got infected. I couldn't have both first and second earrings in at the same time otherwise the 2nd hole got infected. That stuff is gross... But it feels so much better when it comes out and your ear lobe isn't constantly itching and swollen. Put some neosporin on it or clean it with peroxide

I have a small bump on the side of my head above my ear. Its been there for like the past week, is a little smaller but doesn't seem to be going away completely. Doesn't hurt or anything, but wtf is it? I think it might be alien hatchlings or something.

It could very well be an ingrown hair like Pancoast said, and it also could just be a pimple. Although what I had looked like a pimple at first but you knew it was worse than that. Keep an eye on it. Put a hot compress on it several times a day. That would help too.

It does. I got it all cleaned up and now the diff has new oil rather than the 125k mile old crap that was in there.

With that many miles it must look sludged to hell.

However, when I stuck my finger into the drain hole I discovered a thin layer of sludge at the bottom. I put in some Mobile 1 synthetic gear oil in there though.
