technically the road did... bent the front frame rail up and back about 6" each. you can kinda see the front fascia is crooked... bent my IC and crushed the rubber hot side IC pipe into the transmission.

Not sure as to the full extent of the damage. but it runs fine, still boosts nearly the same, drives straight.

If i wasn't already planning on trading it in I'd prefer to have it fixed. the damage and repair will just ruin my trade in value. So, i'm going to mention to them i'd rather have it totaled...

Elliott18t 04-21-2009 09:59 AM

they didn't total my car and it ended up having 12k in damage. Kinda glad they didnt though. Wasn't really ready for a new car anyways, Not going to trade it in any time soon, etc. I also have limited credit history(i think..), so I kinda need that loan still.

i've learned that your vehicle loan doesn't do a damned thing for your credit unless you **** up with it...

i've had my car for 4 years now and have all but one payment on time... i get turned down for car loans b/c i don't have enough credit history... :bigeek:

agreed. kinda need one for credit though, hoping for a small limit, which It will probably be anyways..

Scapegoat 04-21-2009 10:36 AM

yeah, you can't get **** without a credit history unless you've got the cash to pay in full... that usually doesn't happen with cars and houses

For some kind of degree. Probably in information technology. I don't want to be working on call for the next 15 years of my life.
