**Thursday's Meet, Moved!**

At Absolute Steaks there was a sign and it read: Closed until further notice. (explained by post #12)

There has been some talk about where future meets are going to be but post #28 IS the winner (which I cut, edited and pasted below from dolphinS4's posts). So find us all there this Thursday, starting at 7pm!

Btw, a big thanks to Mike, the owner of the Works (Fresh Works) at the Cross Roads Shopping Center, for the invite. Him and his wife are expecting soon... congrats to them!

This thread is so we can all put in some ideas here and see what happens.

Btw, I've a got a buddy from HS who owns New Madison Restaurant and the stores and parking lot around him in Levittown on RT 413 that might be able to take care of us. He is a real good guy and big time car nut and his place has a parking lot big enough for us. There are a bunch of food joints there as well, a Dunkin Donuts, and a Gibbies Ice Cream place (edited, I thought it was a DQ) across the street.

(edited) I just spoke to him and he says the only shop open there at night is the bar for now so we might be better off hanging out somewhere else considering he won't be able to be there to ward off any complainers.

its gibbies ice cream place... but i know where your talking about... that would be a great spot but there is a lot of idiots that would drive by and rev their engines and stuff but it would probably be the same amount as absolute had... its good for me only 2 mins away from my house

I'm a little confused, what's wrong with the steak place?

apparently there was a sign on the door that said 'closed until further notice'... plus not everyone is a fan of their food, so i alternate arrangements / back up plan is in the works...

They had some legal stuff and are not open.

Ok well this is second hand from another tst member but the owner of the property is dying and her lawyer was given power of attourney over the property. And he is a dick and the guy who rents the steak place doesn't wanna buy the lot for 1mil from the lawyer... so he closed.

damn... that's harsh :(

Yeah it kinda sucks. But honestly we need to find somewhere where we can hangt out till late hopefully a brighter place and good food if not there very close by. How about a diner????

Is the Great American Pub in Langhorne still closed? A diner would be a perfect idea since 99% of them are 24/7!

Of course, before we vote on a place someone needs to get a hold of the owner there and see if it is ok with them. We can say we can meet up at Reb Robbins or Neshaminy Mall or whatever but then we would probably get kicked out, in some places, probably real quick.

with popular ones like GAD/P the problem is parking...

Idea sounds good...Hopefully we can find somewhere else to do this.

The blue fountian diner has a large parking lot and is open 24/7 they might actually be cool with cars meeting there as well. Ill drop by today after work if nobody else has already.
