Any of you Drift type people interested in going to VIR this weekend?

I'm looking at driving down Friday Night after 9pm (I have class until 8:45) and getting to the Hotel sometime between 2am-4am to meet up with John and Jess. Google Maps says the drive will take ~7 Hours and it's 400 miles so I'm estimating the real transit time will be ~5 Hours.

Drift all day Saturday, Party it Up Saturday Night, Wake up Hungover Sunday Morning, Drift all of Sunday, Come home Sunday night. ETA to be back in Jersey is 11pm-12am Sunday Night/Monday Morning.

Basically, your only expenses to get down there would be, a portion of the fuel (~400 miles of fuel so like $40), event entry (25 for 2 days) and a portion of the room (Price of room divided by number of people, you'll have to talk to John about that.)

You're right boostin... I should tighten things up here. I just closed that thread, and something else I have been meaning to do is close this one, so thank you for bringing my attention back to that. Its created a mess among users and moderators since it doesn't follow the structure of the forum even though I have tried to be easy-going about it.

This thread is in the NJ section which is wrong, its a meet thread thats totally OT which is wrong, and its been something that the moderating team has edited on multiple occasions since it does not follow the rules, and I have had to go back and undo their work and explain that this is an 'exception to the rule'... and I'm not sure why I have made that effort to give you guys a little bit there.

If you want to start a MEET thread, then please copy the essential meet info from the first post and make the new thread in Upcoming Events, and keep it to meet discussion only. If you want to start a NJ chat, then post it in the New Jersey section, which will be completely independent from the meet, is open to anyone who wants to participate, and of course follows all forum rules including those regarding illegal activity.
