Would you happen to have a glock with black talons for me to test?

blkZ06 07-03-2009 11:02 AM

I do, but considering black talons go for $2.50 a round or more and they stopped making them in 1994 mine are stay in my safe. But a Glock and plenty of ammo I do posses and would be against letting you shoot some **** with it.

Haha well I probably wont ball up and buy the black talons anyway. But yeah lets shoot some **** up... you are back in the country I'm assuming?

holy hell. that obama forum is insane. Does anyone have a glock 19/23 an h&k usp compact, and an xd compact i could shoot a few rounds through? Im not 21 yet, but really cant decide what i want, and want to get it pretty much asap(as in, on my birthday)

blkZ06 07-03-2009 04:14 PM

I have a 23

Just go to target master, they have all that **** sitting there for rent

I thought you couldn't shoot pistols at target master without being 21 at all...? Idk that's what Mike B told me

blkZ06 07-03-2009 04:27 PM

Yea I dont think you can unless you go with someone over 21

dragonfly2k3 07-03-2009 04:29 PM

^^well that wont be a problem. How do you like the 23? Do you prefer the 40 over the 9/45?

blkZ06 07-03-2009 04:46 PM

Im very happy with my 23 its my daily carry

To be honest I have no real preference for firearms, I see people all the time that they hate this and love that but I find I can use and be proficient with anything I shoot.

dragonfly2k3 07-03-2009 04:53 PM

I like the idea of a more powerful round then the 9, and a higher capacity then the 45. But of the 3 I find 40 is the hardest for me to shoot proficiently. I may end up with a 9mm compact, but am unsure of the fire-power for a daily carry.

blkZ06 07-03-2009 05:20 PM

People look down on the 9mm but if you have good ammo the more mag capacity and quicker target acquisition makes a 9mm a serious threat.

If you hit a threat with a couple rounds of ANYTHING its not going to be a good day for them, and a round in the head or the heart with pretty much any caliber is a fight ender, period

Someone once told me that big caliber is great but they carry less rounds you can miss with, think of it that way

dragonfly2k3 07-03-2009 06:09 PM

yeah, I guess i will have to start looking around at 9s. I like how easy the 9 is to shoot, compared to a 40 its just so much more gentle.

I've been 21 for like 3 months. I need a gun.

blkZ06 07-04-2009 09:45 AM

you do not need a gun

dragonfly2k3 07-04-2009 01:49 PM

im with blk. you do not need a gun. If you feel you want one, and are ready to take on the responsibility of owning, and possibly carrying one, then buy one!

Finally shot alittle today since deer season.

First started with the .22 revovler and shot about 12 rounds? then the .22 rifle and shot about 20. Then i shot one threw the 10 gauge at 40 yards and destroyed the target. Then shot 4 outa the 30 odd 6. i had fun but now im left with a sore shoulder.

you shot 5 rounds and now have a sore shoulder? :bigeek: d00d, you gots ta hold the rifle the right way! lol. seriously, i know a 10 ga. and 30-06 pack a lot of punch, but you should be shouldering the weapon differently if you're sore after 5 rounds.

doesn't matter though, it's awesome that you got out to shoot. i haven't been out for two months and it's killing me. ammo = lots of money.

hey blkZ06 - i can haz .223?
