SCCA Anyone?

Well I've been looking around and decided I want to try my hand at some SCCA events. Never having competed in one I was hoping someone on here might want to "hold my hand" through my first event, you know show me the ropes and such. Just looking for someone on here who Auto X's and might want to help me through my first one hopefully sometime this month. If anyone is interested we can take a look at the calendar and see what event works for everyone.

I'll be at Warminster, PA next Sunday September 10th. Myself and another buddy from Newark will be heading up from DE if you want to follow.

Check out www.phillyscca.com for some additional information. ;)

there's plenty of 'hand holding' at these events: novice walk, drivers' meeting.
don't be afraid to ask around as well as ask questions-look at other peoples' setups, etc.

someone telling you what/where/where - takes the whole first time experience away from you.

Just make sure you pay attention at the driver's meeting and also make sure you take an instructor with you on your first few runs. Trust me, it will help tremendously! ;)

I've been running in Northeast PA's SCCA region events....only 40-50 cars per event, and you get 6 runs...very cool.
