Yeah it is. I'm currently paying out the ass for insurence because I got caught driving with a suspended license.

Although I completely agree, that won't matter to the insurance company. The DMV will just report it wasn't paid. Then it'll be his word that he did but they failed to apply the payment. People say that **** all the time when they didn't actually pay. It's like the boy who cried wolf.
