Yeah. Maybe it was a good thing you didn't work for him. If he's going to fire you over that, then probably worse when you work with him. Either way it sucks though.

Have you asked your boss for a raise? I would have a serious conversation, plead your case with examples. If you don't get more money, then step back the extra stuff you do. There is only so long you can do extra without being recognized before it isn't worht it anymore.

eh, I get the overtime no questions asked. thats not the problem. its the principle of the thing and that the world doesn't revolve around his schedule.

we get to start soldering next week. got midterm this wensday on basic ac/dc theory.

Soldering is very easy if you take your time and don't rush through it.

I soldered a fair bit. Last thing I soldered was a small harness for my HID's. I like how they came out...I think this is a perfect joint.
