Last semester there were like 23.

Scapegoat 01-05-2009 11:47 AM

programming courses are boring as hell... mostly because programming instructors aren't teachers... they're programmers... and programmers are generally boring people, other than myself that is...

i should go get a degree in languages or some ****... or something random for me, digital audio production http://mc3.edu/aa/career/programs/com-dig-aud.htm

R_Rambo 01-05-2009 11:47 AM

It was the same way with my Drafting teacher.. he wasn't really a teacher and the classes where boring. Kinda felt like I wasn't being introduced anything new after the first two weeks or so.

my programming teachers where not too bad, java teacher was kinda an odd-ball though

I have the same teacher for all my classes. Its a good thing I sorta like him!

Scapegoat 01-05-2009 11:53 AM

my last java class was like that... class was cis111b, and yes... there is an a. i took cis111a probably... 3 years ago, and he was teaching us the same **** from that for the first month or so, then broke into something else entirely and expected people to be able to complete the assignments despite having not taught anything about it.

now, if i wasn't such a lazy POS i would have learned the stuff on my own, and completed the assignments

was b the "advanced" version. lol. I tried switching from a to that but went back because It was a little more than i knew... so I went back to the boring class :( at least at montco thats how it was.

R_Rambo 01-05-2009 11:57 AM

i have take one summer class for the next 4 years so i can finish college in 4 years instead of 4.5

Scapegoat 01-05-2009 11:58 AM

this was in montco... the b is supposed to come after the a... it really should be like... 111 and 112, but i guess the state or someone told them years ago that their cis111 course wasn't enough.

that **** just bores me... i think i'll gingerly take the digital audio production courses and see how that goes... my computer is certainly up to snuff for audio production, just need an audio card and better speakers/headphones...

hmmmm

The new tech building where all the audio classes etc are, I believe, Look really nice. Never had a class there but would sit in there on the computers between classes.

Oakes 01-05-2009 12:04 PM

predicts scape is gonna go out and buy a sweet audio system for his comp

it is a nice building, i had my two courses there last semester.

the only issue i have... not enough ****ing outlets in the class room!

when you've got students in programming courses bringing in laptops, and you've got 2 outlets on a wall spread out 12+ ft from each other... that is not enough.

who ever designed the electrical in that building needs to be shot in foot
