you're higher than the rest, oh wait 4/20 is over, um yeah I just want to have a really cleanly executed site that gives off that high end appeal but still simplistic ya know? It's hard to word and impossible to do with on these build it yourself sites haha.

Grimm, I'll PM you some examples of what I'm looking for, try and piece it together cause some are far too complicated in their function but i like their layouts.

russiankid 04-21-2009 01:59 PM

Look up on google on how to use html. You can just put your own things in. I've made my own websites for computer class before. Its not that bad if you are willing to read.

Elliott18t 04-21-2009 02:00 PM

nah, if he wants a nice site he will probably want some javascript in there as well as some other stuff. Html alone wont make it that nice.

Considering im kinda booked for the next three weeks with details, and the only time i have will be uploading pics and such id rather not go back through trying to build a site myself and potentially fail. It's something, much like my detailing, that is much better left to someone who knows what theyre doing.

Scapegoat 04-21-2009 02:05 PM

yeah... no offense Nick... but if he does it himself it will look like ****. It takes experience to build a good website... not only design wise but code wise. It takes utilizing and understanding certain tools, when and how to use them...

russiankid 04-21-2009 02:06 PM

What about using programs?

none taken, cause you're right haha. I did the one I have now just so I could have one to show, I hate it lol. Just like you shouldn't leave your car to get detailed at a little wash and wax place, you bring it to me :-p

russiankid 04-21-2009 02:08 PM

*Runs out and gets his car from the little wash n' wax chop shop around the corner*.

If you still dont have experience its gonna look/work like ****, reguardless. The programs like dreamweaver/frontpage wont do everything for you.
