yeah so anyway since the mazda god has already heard about it, whats the rest of the car community think. I'm happy they've stuck with the roatry this long since everyone else is stopping production or changing the setup mazda has stuck with what works for them.

Interesting story- I guess I would accept this 2+2, as long as they do come out with the RX-7 as well. And a larger rotary engine sounds good, but there better be turbo options on both cars. Since this is an older concept, more recent renderings probably look better. If they came out with a turbo RX-8 or RX-7 that would be nuts!

REALLY REALLY REALLY Old, I was hopeing for some new stuff, but then I thought "why would it be on here before any mazda forum" then I cliked and it was OLD. haha

Rx7 went up to 2002 (or around there, don't remember) in japan so I don't think they'd come back with one (another rx"7") already.

Screw Mazda's. I work at a local dealer and they keep cheaping out whereever they can. We have seen rust on 3 year old cars....

Thats why they call it the RX-8 (RX for Rust Extreme)

well ive never seen it, and i think it looks interesting and inline with what their new cars have been looking like. Im glad it doesnt have the rear suicide doors like the rx-8 too.

OP - First time I saw pics of this car and thank you for posting it... Looks good to me and hope it goes into production as it sits. Hopefully they do another turbo rotary or maybe a 4-rotor n/a cause they need to do SOMETHING special to remind us they are capable. (because they very well are).
