MUDDING TOMORROW!!!(wed, 30)

tomorrow since it has been raining im going to go to the pine barrens and get the car nice and dirty. im leaving around 11, and taking my two girls. anyone up for getting together and going as a group? any more details needed let me know

TROLL 11-30-2005 12:12 AM

wo sounds fun. where are you located? how rough are the roads you're talking about? i might drive or might try to ride along depending on how rough the terrain is. lemme know...

hummerman88 11-30-2005 12:17 AM

Well i did the pbx rally two weeks ago and my stock spec-v handled it fine. the roads are all dirt/sand. there are bumps and all that good stuff, ya just got drive around them, or hit them nice and fast if ya wanna get your car nice and muddy. i live in feasterville, but i gotta pick my two friends up from bensalem high school so ill prob be leaving from there. its about a 45 minute drive. the pine barrens allows you to drive for hours cuz its such a large area. miles and miles off nice dirt road fun!

ill keep checking back from now until tomorrow at 11. pm me or something

jspek 11-30-2005 12:26 AM

im up for riding with someone. i got the video camera. willing to meet up with someone but not to far...****ing car is giving me a cel i need to check.

TROLL 11-30-2005 12:29 AM

hmm yeah i probably shouldnt bring my car, it'd turn out bad i think. but i got the still camera and a stickpod for video too. i'm still undecided if i am going to go because i had some things to do tomorrow but i'm trying to work it out.

hummerman88 11-30-2005 05:16 PM

Ok, change of plans.....Tomorrow (thursday) afternoon at 12:15, I will be at absolute steaks. if anyone wants to go, be there at that time. i have one spot left in my car. so lets try to get at least 4-5 other cars going. let me know if you wanna go so i know if i should actually go to absolute steaks

SilverTurboRidin 11-30-2005 06:01 PM

BTW, having a meet during the day let alone a weekday is probably not gonna turn out the best

nice job trolling. he did the pbx rally, so yes you can offroad a sentra. and why the hell would someone lie and say they drove their car into a lake??? YOU do go to school right? cause its not impossible working 45 hours a week.

who the hell are you? nice first 2 post in this thead. why dont you go introduce yourself, then maybe you can come in here and ask questions.

noreaga0221 12-03-2005 05:36 AM

Hahaha why would you even consider taking a sentra off road? Which is different than actually rallying.. if infact he did rally. Not to mention taking your daily driver off road while still paying for it and in school. Do you think anything through?

MuddyREX 12-03-2005 11:30 AM

That sucks man, that's why I stay away from the water while I'm out there. I think someone in the PBX a few years ago got a little over exuberant and wound up in the drink, so you aren't the first. Not that it makes it any better.

For some reason though, I have a feeling your insurance company will leave you hanging out to dry (no pun intended) since you were most likely tresspassing.

Note to everyone else: My car is my daily driver, and I voyage back into the pine barrens pretty often. Some of the roads are very smooth, which allows me to hit close to 60mph. What Hummerman did is no different than what I do, only I stay away from water. Lay off the guy.

There are some pics of some of the Pine Barrens conditions in this thread.

thanks for clarifying it.

theres no need to cry and get all upset, it was a simple question. i didnt know people could offroad fwd cars and the whole schooling vs work thing sounded alittle unrealistic. i figured since you awd guys are so into rallying and all, since you shoot videos after meets, i figured this kid was just F'ing around.

it'd be pretty stupid to blame an entire site for my one question.

Broken5hift 12-04-2005 08:59 PM

oh and this thread is on a few other sites so maybe thats where maggot came from.

i just followed the link from myspace...someone posted a link saying some dumbass just drove his almost new sentra spec-v into a lake or something trying to rally a fwd...it sounded funny but untrue then i get here and no its true and i feel bad for his loss but it still seemed like it was too stupid to be true...but if you all say it is then i take back my bs flag....and yes it was worth signing up just to post my 2 now three post... :wiggle:

teh DIRT 12-04-2005 09:19 PM

first off. sorry about your V. i met you at the rally and was really impressed that you took your spec....and finished so well. as for the flaming. try not to have such a narrow minded view on things. just because something is usually never tried doesnt mean that it cant be done.

I hope the new members will stay here and try to contribute to the community instead of bashing everyone.
