Last night after a bunch of us left Levittown Sonic we came up to Bensalem. Police came and we had a talk, this is where it stands now.
Sonic wants us there, they want our business, and they don't mind us hanging out. Dan (manager at Bensalem Sonic) told me there haven't been any complaints that he's heard, but the township thinks otherwise. For us to be there, Sonic would need a permit to host the meet, at which point they would be liable if someone left the meet and hit another car, or decided to drag race on street road, and even if Sonic did take on that responsibility, the township could always deny the permit.
In the coming weeks, vr-4-life and myself will be working with Dan (manager at Bensalem) and Kirk (manager at Levittown) as well as the townships to try and get the permits pushed through so we can keep having the meets, but for now, the meets are at a pause.
You can still come and get food and eat it there, but anything more than that is considered loitering and you may get a ticket for it so as of now, take your chances if you wish. I'll update when I get more info.

So after talks with management at Sonic, we finally have it. The Thursday Night Meets. Thanks in advance to TROLL and others for getting our name out there on Day 1. Also thanks to Dan (KrazyK606), a manager at Sonic who got us this approval.

Anyone and everyone with any make and model car or bike as long as you bring a good attitude.
For those who can't make it to Sonic with us on Thursday Nights, use this as your impluse thread. If you are craving some burgers or whatever else, post it here and feel free to get a group together on any random night, we are not limited to how many times we can be there, however Thursday Nights are still the "Official" meets, as per TST tradition.
Rules:
Rules for this meet and all others are simple. Use common sense, be safe and smart, and stick by the "just because you can doesnt mean you should" philosophy. Official TST rules for this meet and all others can be seen
here. All of the regulars are familiar with the rules and you will be asked to leave if you break any of them, no exceptions.
Words from the owner:
The owner of Sonic has 3 simple requests for us, all of which are in the rules list, and are mentioned above.
1. No revving, no burnouts, no loud stereos. Please remember we are not the only people there.
2. There are many female employees at Sonic. Please use your judgement and do not touch or harras them. You will be asked to leave and police may be called to take you away.
3. Mind the garbage. I realize this is not everyone littering, but lets be sure to clean up after ourselves both at the tables and in the lot. If you see trash laying on the ground near your car and it isnt yours, throw it out anyway.
