June 29th/Car show, cookout, get together AND MORE! in PA.

Date June 29th sunday at 8:00am-till whenever
Location:
Henry's Truck Stop
1560 Robin Hood Dr.
Etters, PA 17319

Car show off, some grilling foods, weigh station,d-jet very reasonably priced

Its time we all just get together and have some fun like we used to. So what I've come up with is this. There is a local truck stop located right off of route 83 that is easily accesable from the Turnpike, maryland, gettysburg,New Jersey, philly area people. We're just gonna have a car show area, a weigh station open to be able to weigh your car, eat, show off your car. There will be a mobile dynojet available aswell that I leased to come there. No entry fee's or anything cause its just a cook out and have fun thing. We will allow up to 30 cars to be dynoed. Price for that is going to be $45.00 for 3 pulls with wideband o2 A/F. For the first 20 people that dyno will get a free T-shirt compliments of Stewart warner performance. The food will not be free cause someones gotta pay for it but hey we will all get together and have one hell of a time. OH almost forget we will have our own version of Pass time aswell. Except we will be doing it with the dyno #'s. No large trucks may dyno or volvo's for some reason LOL! PM me for further details.

The dyno will have the wideband included for the 45.00. I believe its a single roller dynojet, so no AWD. Zturd, correct me if I'm wrong. There will be SW T-shirts for anyone who dynos.

Yea, I don't think you want to be the dyno queen and the dragstrip queen too.

Correct, and since this Supra plans on hitting the track he may not be the dragstrip Queen anymore either.

mikep 06-15-2008 08:19 PM

WOW how the hell did I become a queen. I am quite happy being a princess :)

Thats not fair be nice now. I dont post my dyno number or track times on forums. But to be honest its last dyno was XXX dyno-jet and track time on drag radials was XXX at a whopping XXXmph. There not big numbers by any means in the LSX world.

supraghost 06-16-2008 09:17 AM

only god knows if ssperformance will ever track that supra. supra's aren't dragstrip queens anyway right? dosent it go something like this?

400hp supra...12sec car
500hp supra.... 12 sec car
600 hp supra.... 13 sec car

lol.

but anyway, i would liek to see what his car puts down. then we can bug him to get it on the track:)

Actually it was a Mike, not even sure about the p. It also had some big ass slicks, so it couldn't have been you. Vettes are a dime a dozen, so it was an honest mistake, my bad.

Now if were gonna talk about what the car ran on the slicks thats a little different story. Black vettes dime a dozen, black blown vettes on bogart D-10s not so common. LOL Now whos having the fun  Vette broken suspension under repair....

I just got home from the local sonic meet and wanted to post up. First thanks to the people who ran the dyno, the people who let us use the parking lot, people who helped organize and get this all together. MOST OF ALL THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT CAME! Despite the weather swearing off several people and car problems we had almost 60 cars at its highest point. We had an amazing quality of cars and more then one of almost everything. We had 27 cars dyno in total and they cut it off due to the heat/humidity was wearing down on them. I'm sure it was hot for us but WAY hotter standing on a metal diamond plate dyno with cars constantly LOL! The food was inexpensive and worked well for me atleast. It was a nice mix of cars being SUPRA's being the big # dynoing cars and higher # of turnouts of type of car. I think there were 13-15 supras, some fbodies, some 03/04 SVT cobras, C5/C6 vettes, Neon SRT-4s, Infinity G35s, some old iron camaro, falcon, chevell,RSX's, Chrysler 300C, etc etc. I'll get some pics up tomorrow right now I have to tend to some SERIOUS SUNBURN!!!!!

Once again thank all of you for coming out and making it a REALLY fun day and get together. I look forward to have more get togethers and people enjoying their cars more often.
POST UP YOUR PICS AND #'S!!!!

I think I was able to get everyone's dyno files from the operator before I left. Here is what I have, if yours is not in here, I am sorry. But I don't think I missed any.

1) First download the WinPEP viewing software from Dynojet's website - LINK
2) Here is a zip file containing all the files I managed to grab - LINK
